March 2008

In the City of Playford, one of South Australia's fastest growing areas, the Devine Oakwood community at Munno Para is selling quickly.

All of the civil works are complete in both Stages 1 and 2, and with close to 100 lots sold or at unconditional stage, housing construction is well underway.

Subject to council approval, work will also begin in April on display homes and open about August.

Due to unpresident interest, the estate is now 90% sold with less than 8 lots still available, and these wont last long.

Oakwood is just 30 minutes drive from the Adelaide CBD. And it has all the facilities a family could need, as well as easy access to the City of Playford's major careers opportunities in industry, manufacturing, horticulture and technology

Munno Para is, quite simply, an area on the move, with analysts predicting a massive 150% population growth in the next decade as the City of Playford as a whole grows by 21% to just over 91,000.

Munno Para house prices rose in value by more than 70% between 2002 and 2004, and while they have settled to around 3.5% a year since, market analysts say they will increase about 4.5% a year over the next three years.

At the same time rents have been rising about 8% a year.

November 2007

Devine's Oakwood community just 30 minutes drive from Adelaide CBD is proving a major attraction for Devine homebuyers and investors – just 58 of the 186 lots remain for sale.

And various works on the estate are adding to the impetus. Stage 2 earthworks have begun, road works will start in December and landscaping is targeted to commence in late January.

A major addition, the construction of Devine display homes, is about to start, and other builders are finalising their plans.

In the heart of the quickly growing City of Playford, Oakwood is an area on the move. It has all the facilities a family needs, and easy access to the City of Playford's major careers opportunities in industry, manufacturing, horticulture and technology.

Lots range 298sqm to 577sqm. The estate includes parks and reserves and is just 500m from the local North Lakes Golf Course. It is also a few minutes from the proposed Northern Expressway that will provide even easier access to the CBD.

Analysts predict a massive 150% population growth in the local suburb of Munno Para in the next decade.

August 2007

Buyer demand is so strong for the Devine Oakwood estate, the company is considering rolling into Stage 2 sales well before it expected to.

In just over a month since launch, buyers have committed to 80 lots off the plan, a major success for the estate, which is at Munno Para, just north of Adelaide CBD in the City of Playford.

Stage 1 – with 130 lots – was considered a major initial offering. But homebuyers and investors are so keen, the company is fast-tracking the final release of 56 lots in Stage 2.

Stage 1 titles are due to be issued around November, with house construction to start soon after.

Four display builders, including Devine Homes, will establish an 8-home village close to the entry reserve at Oakwood, adding another impressive element to the master-planned neighbourhood.

Plans to launch Oakwood on Andrews – another new 64 lot estate 500 metres away are well underway.
