Housing market

Resolution says Munno Para house prices showed substantial growth - in fact more than 70% - between 2002 and 2004. In dollar terms this was an increase of $67,750 at an 'incredible average annual rate of 23.4%.'

Since then, median house prices here and in the City of Playford generally have stabilised to just over 3.5% growth a year. Resolution predicts a 4.5% increase a year over the next three years.

Rental market

Weekly rents in Munno Para have gone up just under 25% since 2003 - about 8% a year.

Because of the scarcity of rental properties in Munno Para, Resolution predicts a consistent upward pressure on median weekly rents, a fact supported by recent data for the Northern Adelaide region as a whole. This says the region's residential vacancy rate is just 1%.
